So. Im in Lima sitting in an internet place with private cabins. Which means they lock you up in a little box with a computer, and a webcam. I hate to think of what people do in here. Anyway Im about to begin my big update of whats been going on, and put up all the pics Ive taken.

Im in Lima till the end of October now, learning Spanish for 4 weeks. Im also bartending in evenings, since Im broke and the nice people at Loki Hostel are letting me stay for free if I bartend at their bar. Which is a pretty good deal since I get free dinners, and 40 percent off on alcohol. Also since Im saving money on stay, I get to spend it on alcohol. So you see, it all works out in the end.

The last 10 days or so here have been great fun. Liam left last Thursday, but Amy and Corinne, two friends we made in the Galapagos came down for a few days. And another friend Leah was here for a couple of days. So Ive basically been going to spanish in the mornings, playing lots of table football in the afternoons (especially when Liam was here) and then getting drunk in the evenings. Also been playing lots of darts. And pool. Pretty much standard stuff. Everyone has left now though, which makes me very sad and lonely. And bored.

Spanish has been fun. Learning a lot, and the place where Im doing it (El Sol Language School) is really really good. The teachers are smart, great fun, and they have a host of activities in the afternoons. Movies, cooking classes, dancing etc....I also cooked an Indian lunch for my class last Friday, and everyone really enjoyed it.

Working at the bar has been cool, but it encourages me to drink more, so its just as well I get a discount. Its hard work, there are only about 10 glasses so you have to keep washing them constantly, and lots of people to serve and this really irritating drunk Cuban guy who makes my life miserable trying to play Fugees songs all the time. But otherwise its alright. There are always interesting people to talk to, and I get to play my own music most of the time (except when my irritating boss Kohn, wants to play his shit)

Also been hit in the face with a whole bunch of coincidences which are starting to creep me out.

For starters when Liam, Molly and I were walking the streets of Lima in August, there was the weird foreigner girl sitting on the street mumbling to herself. When we tried to help her, she said she was fine, walked ten yards, sat down again and started mumbling. Weird stuff. So anyway, I moved into Loki Hostel two nights ago. And shes in the bed next to me. She cries all day, and talks to herself all the time. And never leaves the room, except to go to the toilet. Its starting to creep me out, but everyone else in the room ignores it so....

Then in my last hostel, wake up one morning, and the guy in the next bed is someone Liam and me bumped into near the Ecuador-Peru border. Strange.

Theres more but I cant be bothered to write. And they probably sound not so strange. Bah!
