Our tickets are booked for 5th November and before we leave we need to finalise the sale of our house. We are waiting on tenterhooks as until contracts are exchanged either party can back out of the sale for no reason, we have already had this happen to us once this year (hence the late departure) and are hoping to hear this week. We have tentatively planned to move out on 20th October and will stay with Kerry and Dave for two weeks before we go.
The weather here is wet, cold and miserable so we can't wait to find some bright sunny weather - we hope!

A great idea. Keep it going. Would love to see some photos too!!! And when you start your travels will expect to see the odd Afrikaans word.
