I just thought I'd add what I did today after class...St. Mary's is a church just a minute up the road, and it's been around since the mid 1800's I believe. It was originally built for the 5th Duke of Buccleuch and his family who used to live here in Dalkeith House.
Anyway, today was crpyt cleaning day...yes, about four caskets containing dukes and duchesses are below the church. So a few of us got to opent the crypt, vacuum and sweep it, and polish up the caskets. It sounds creepy (and it was) but it was very cool to be a part of that.
That's today's excitement!
