Out on the Quads
At the top of a mountain, standing proud of our accomplishment. Well, now back to the purpose of this trip... to taste as many local beers throughout Europe as is possible in a 3 month trek 😉
Ios, this is by far my favorite island of the 3 greek islands that we visited. With a much younger crowd, cheaper in everyway, beautiful soft beaches, an awesome hostel/resort and late night parties, you can't go wrong with Ios.
We checked into a small 2 bed camping shelter at an awesome resort area called Far Out. Here we went swimming in the sea and pools, layed in the sun, went banana boating, drove a quad all over the island, visited Homer's tomb (some ancient philospher guy) and yes, nurtured many hangovers. The clubs had many specials on as the season was over and they were just getting rid of any remaining alcohol they had left. Here we also found Gyros (the pita wrap) for 1.80 euros, a little cheaper than previously found.
We stayed here for about 4 days until heading to Athens via a ferry.
