Where the elephants roam and i wonder why they dont beat the hell out of their trainers because they are not very nice.

Anyways, theres a little place called 'The What' bar in chaing mai where a chap called steve from norwich runs a tight ship.
The what bar was good to us, many a beer, many a friend, a sanctuary for those that are not lost but those that wonder.

We left our hotel buy tuc tuc, the world greatest invention, a demon of the streets.
The tuc tuc took five, in england probably two passengers would be legal.
We arrived at the maui tahi boxing ring about 8, ready for a great show, i was betting for blues, adam was betting for reds, there were 8 matches, i won one.
however, the one match was the greatest match of them all.

As the Woman in the red corner (yes this was the womens round) took to the stage my jaw dropped as she was cleary a man or the closest you could get.
Bluey then came and took her post, my jaw dropped further and i had clearly lost this round, bluey should have been on a cat walk for her beauty was immense, surely she could not win.

As every punch landed on my bluey from man features, a smile lept from her face. This pretty catwalk girl was not what she seemed.

As every kick swept inches past man features jaw, i knew the game had turned around - do not judge a book by its cover.
The pretty lady kicked man features ass and she didnt ever stop smiling, lady in blue you made my evening.

However after a few games of pool in 'the what' bar the mood of the evening shortly swung around, just as the metal pole did when an angry thai man ran it across the back of my head for no reason what so ever.

"As the metal pole violently struck the back of my head i felt the blood flowing down my neck covering my hands, my t-shirt, my shorts.
There was no knock-out, not even a flinch, I did not cry, nor feer the pain, pain is but weekness leaving the body.
There was one thing the tahi man missed, he was dealing with sparta.
A moment like this could bring someone
SpartanSpartanSpartan

The head wound!
down, but i am a spartan. I relished on every moment of pain, as i knew, this moment would make me stronger, faster, more powerful than ever before."

The next greatest moment was when the blood was pouring out of my head and i was having to argue with the man about what happend as the police stood in the background as they didnt really care.

I would like to thank the anrgy thai man for translating as he was the only english speaking person around at the time.. i would also like to thank him for the bit when he told the police what happened and probably lied so he got off it a bit more..

But its ok everyone, he got fined about 5 quid... so everthings fine.. yeh ... great.. wooo!

Anyways, do not let this put you off chiang mai.. its a lovely place and full of lovely people.
An ozzy bar man even offered to go round the tahi mans house with his knife, i kindly thanked him and said it was a lovely thought but i was alright with leaving it.

Sorry for the delay everyone.. internets nuts .. and the blog when down.. should catch up the last months asap... sorry!

oh and i forgot to mention, the anrgy thai man was actually anrgy at his girlfriend not me, you could even say i saved her life as it would proabably properly hurt someone whos not as spartan as i.

he said he was sorry.

Party on!
