Here I am again at this nice internet cafe with the great view over the red sea. Im very lazy today so i dont wanna write that much.
Met up with my friend in Cairo and her family & friends which was so great. After a lot of frustration and rip offs in Cairo i was so happy to meet some lovely and honest people. We spent some great time together.

Return from Cairo yesterday, lots of trouble with buses. Bus to dahab due to leave at 7.15, then it appeared to be full, not even baksheesh helped anymore. Ended up buying a dodgy bus ticket to sharm el sheikh, everybody was quite aggressive and I was more than happy to leave Cairo. Nobody really knew where the bus would depart from except that it would NOT depart from an official bus stop. I ended up getting on a taxi that brought me to another part of Cairo and dropped me at a street corner where a crowd of people was waiting. Nobody was sure when and if the bus would come and so I ended up waiting for over 4 hours till a bus showed up and a guy yelled "Sharm el sheikh". So I finally found transport - a miracle in a crazy city like Cairo!! In sharm el sheikh there were no buses to dahab left so i had to get a taxi. First everybody wanted 300 egyptian pounds which would have been way too much!! PLus I still carried scratches from being ripped off in Cairo and I was determined not to let the same game happen again and was about to hitchhike a camel caravane for the 80km but then after the old "leaving and getting called back"-game we agreed on a better price i ended up paying 120 pounds. Now im here in dahab enjoying my time. Spent the day at the blue lagoon
Over the next days not much is going to happen, i may just spent my time in the sun and the sea before finally returning to germany

Cairo itself has some great souqs (markets) where you can buy all sorts of stuff plus the pyramids/memphis/sakkara were truly wonderful. Got massively ripped off at the pyramids. In cairo its so hard to find dependable and honest people, most of the people i dealt with on the street were hasslers, liars its been so so so bad. What a dishonest place!! I would never recommend anyone going alone to Cairo, not that anything truly bad is going to happen to you but you will not enjoy the time there. Im still pretty emotional about cairo, after travelling the middle east with its lovely people i found nothing of this (!!!) with people on the street in cairo. My friend and the brothers i met through her saved my stay in Cairo so not all memories r bad
Today i went to buy some lemons here with this elderly fruit seller. He smiled at me and didnt want any money for the lemons. There are lovely people in dahab that will put so many big smiles on your face

Nice people in Cairo
Hey, my dear friend, it was good to know that you've met our brothers there. I can imagine how great it was to be among real friends in a strange land. And I can see through your words how amazing was your trip and I enjoyed all your adventures and challenges there. I think it was very good to be in those places where the bible stories really happened and it was good to know that this was not so dangerous how someones thought. I got happy with your happiness. Congratulations for living all that emotions and thanks for sharing your emotions and feelings.
