Oh yes...... this subject gets a whole page of its own!

How if your a bloke....... this will be right up your street..... if your not.....or a parental figure you will be slightly worried by the following page...... id skip this one!!!

So..... in Phenom Penn we had just seen the most horrifying museum and mass grave. Naturally both of us were feeling a little down.........i managed to find some upside to the day when the driver said 'you wanna shoot gun, you wanna shoot gun?'..... with a massive cheeser on his face.

After consulting Bex whether it was okay to go and do....... i veto'd her answer and we took a short trip to the local tourist gun range. On arriving through some wooded gates there were a few tourists getting some foto's holding guns!!

We sat down at some table (felt like a bar more than a gun range), and they brought over a menu!! This menu contained all sorts of guns to fire for a small fee. Naturally i was like a kid in a candy store........ looking down a list of guns including the M16, an AK47, Tommy gun, revolver, handguns, hand grenades etc..... you get the picture......there was ALOT of guns!! Enquiring about 'having a go' on the ANTI AIRCRAFT gun (you could even fire a rocket launcher - a snip at $200)... i chose the famous Kalashnikov AK47.

This gun is a monster....... simple to use, single shot or automatic, cheap, reliable, and used in practically every conflict in the last 40 years. Sitting down in some tunnel with a target 50m away, i simply started firing. Out of 25 shots i hit the target 10 times..... most of the missed shots was from the guy switching it over to automatic!! The power of this thing is immense.... and the noise was deafening even with the stylish ear muffs on!! Was great fun.... although slightly worrying how things like these are legal over here!

Well.... to put this experience into perspective.... at $30 for 2/3 mins it was an expensive experience (or 2 nights accom)... but worth every single penny!! Bex was a bit girly and didn't want to have a go but I managed to convince her to get her picture taken ......... check out Bex with her stylish tommy gun!!
