Last night we had a yummy dinner at a restaurant called Hanibal. We had some local Hvar Rose’ wine and dinner with lots of fish. Jon gave me some gorgeous gold circular earrings and matching ring for my anniversary present. The style of jewelry is only indicative of the Dalmatian coast. I don’t know exactly how you spell it, but it sounds like pursta or bursta. We checked out of the Palace Hotel and said good bye to Hvar town. On the way out we stopped at the Fortress on the top of the hill that dates back to the 16th century. We asked the girls at the desk to book us a room for 2 nights in Split at a hotel called the Adriana which was listed as a great place in the Frommer’s guide.
