Me & Michelle Cooling Off Before Our Rainforest HikeMe & Michelle Cooling Off Before Our Rainforest HikeMe & Michelle Cooling Off Before Our Rainforest Hike

It was HOT today - 100 degrees farenheit! If we hadn't been in the water all day, I think we would have melted away.
This week Club O2 is still on the quiet side. 40 teens on the ship, about 20-something come and go. Even though the numbers are low, our tour ran today. A family of 3 teens all signed up to go on the tour. Michelle and I both got to go which was really fantastic. I have so much fun with that girl. Our teens were great too. The two boys mostly spent the tour together and the sister, Sarah, hung out with me and Michelle. She's a super girl and we laughed a lot together.

I love the cave tubing tour and I'm so lucky to have been able to do it multiple times. The walk through the rainforest is stunning. Entering the caves feels like you're embarking on a grand exploration. The views out to the rainforest from inside the cave still put me in a state of awe. And after a half hour in the cold cave, re-entering the sunshine of the jungle is just breath taking. I love just lying back in the tube and watching the ceiling of the cave or the trees of the rainforest pass by overhead.

It was great doing the tour with Michelle and Sarah though. We made funny videos on my camera (can't get enough of the waterproof digital! which all of the other tourists always admire with envy on these tours!), we splashed around in the water, and just did so many silly goofy things. Great great day.

I can't get enough of Belize. I'm so happy I've been able to have so many port days here. One more. The plan for my final Belize next week is to go snorkelling on the Barrier Reef. It's the second biggest in the world (after Australia's) and it's supposed to be phenomenal. It's the only big site in Belize (that's accessible in a port day from the ship) that I haven't yet seen. Looking forward to that.

Tonight's a crew party. Woot woot! Savouring every last one before I go next week . . .

Everytime I'm in the rainforest it's always the giagantic palm leaves that amaze me. This one is small compared to many.

We both keep finding all of these mystery bruises on our arms and legs. Likely all of the play fighting we seem to end of doing!

I've done the Belize tours so many times, I could likely run them myself. So now, bus time means catch up on sleep time! Until I'm back home and start running tours again myself . . . 2 more weeks!

More fun, yet again. Glad you are (were) surrounded by such fun people. Love the pics and the smiles.
