I Love It When We're Tubing Together . . .

Even though the numbers are low, our tour ran today. A family of 3 teens all signed up to go on the tour. Michelle and I both got to go which was really fantastic. I have so much fun with that girl. Our teens were great too. The two boys mostly spent the tour together and the sister, Sarah, hung out with me and Michelle. She's a super girl and we laughed a lot together. I love the cave tubing tour and I'm so lucky to have been able to do it multiple times. The walk through the rainforest is stunning. Teen Tour . . .
Published: August 8th 2007Central America Caribbean » Belize » Belize District » La DemocraciaToday’s port is Belize and I had 4 teens sign up for the Club O2 tour. Cave Tubing was again fantastic. Such a great tour. I’m lucky to be able to have gone at all and spoiled completely by getting to do if for a second time. I love the half hour hike through the rainforest. So much to look at. Our guide this time pointed out a lot of the different types of trees and plants which was interesting. The rainforests never cease to amaze me. I love getting to experience them again and again in so many different countries. The actual cave tubing portion of the tour is so wonderfully relaxing. And I especially mean it when I say today was incredible. A note about work: I have a really low percentage of teens turning out to the club this week. But those who are coming regularly are so wonderful. We only do some of my formal activities, but we’re always hanging out and chatting and laughing and playing various games. A couple nights ago we went to see the theatre show together: Singing With The Big Band, a tribute to Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. It’s my favourite show - great music, fantastic swing dances and the feature singer, Christopher Allan Graves, has a phenomenal voice.
