Ahhh...all the hard work is finally over...Sheila had her last meeting today, and now we're free to play, play, play!
Changed hotels as the one we were in last night was in business area. Ended up in the perfect location (Aron's glad Sheila dealt with all the booking), mere blocks from Prado Museum and in Plaza Santa Ana. We can walk everywhere from here and we will. Tonight we wandered around the area and checked out what we could without any specific plans. At 7PM we walked past a bus stop that read 30 degrees. A while later we went past one that said 37 but then again that was in direct sunlight. Being a Kamloopsian Sheila says 30 easily, 37 not so much. A little nervous to see what the temps are like tomorrow.
8:20, a little late for a siesta but might be necessary. Aron wants to party tonight like the locals do, so after dinner (in an hour or so) will head up to the hotel's rooftop club. Until then, the sangria and beer lunch will have to tide them over. 😉
Post pics and more soon. Have internet here for a few days.
Love y'all.
PS - We learned something on our last day in Prague. You can't ask a Czech for the cheque at the end of the meal. They think you mean you can read Czech...right. So ask for the bill at the end of the meal. Got that, Bill? 😉
