Up at 8am, in the car by 10am, broken down by 12pm! We didn't exactly make it very far out of Victoria before there was smoke billowing out from under the bonet of our Toyota 'Rent-a-Wreck'! So we pull over, inpect the damage and make a knowledgeable decision that the car was in desperate need of some water! So we fill her up, wait a couple of second for the engine to cool and carry on our happy way! After some worrying chugging noices, more smoke and some concerned passengers we pull over for a second time at a very conveiently placed Car Body Shop. As we pull up, and jump out we summonded the help of two guys working on a car! We lift the bonnet to let the engine cool before attemping to lift the bonnet on the car. After numerous attempts we manage to get the radiator cap off, to which it seemed had melted into the radiator! Whoops. So we fill her up whilst enjoying a free donut and poured what seemed like a never ending ammount of h2o into her! So we start her up and watched in amazment as she spat our coolant and
Err good wheels?! Err good wheels?! Err good wheels?!

The beginning of the diagnois - lots of looking and proding and no idea as to what damage had been done!
water like a fountain! As smiles fade we being to realise that maybe the problem was slightly more than just an overheating Toyota!

We really should have known when we hired a car from these guys! With repairs over $1000 for a new thermostat, Headgasket and Radiator Cap thank GOD it was only a hired vehicle!!!

A crisp $100 bill for a taxi journey from Duncan to Nanaimo things started to look up! Good job 'Rent-a-wreck' coughed this crisp one up!

So we upgraded twice from a fucked Toyota to an Escort with speaker problems to a sweet Daimler!!!

3.2 Daimler, leather seats, electric everything, CD player and a dash board like an aeroplane! Needless to say we were all smiling like complete idiots the entier journey!
