Abbey Elliott La Paz is pretty nice for a big city in these parts. certainly not as scary as we had been warned. warm in the day but cold in the evenings we stayed right by what is known as the witches market where llama featus and other delights can be purchased!!
we spent alot of time in the music shops working out whether to get the local charango or a small guitar as we thought that we would get the best deal here in Bolivia. We also visited the local ethnic music museum to help us find inspiration. In the end we decided on a poco guitarra that cost just 12 english pounds!!! we called him chico!!
Avoiding one of the many demonstrations we ducked into wagammas, a sushi restaurant, for some lunch. Boy it was sooooo goood. and we ordered far to much. was a great change to the usual fair u get out here!!! muy rico!!! yum.

La Spaz
Hey chaps - very entertaining as always. Elmington: 'Hendrix is dead'. Benni Whitlock kept saying 'my wife and I', on saturday. It was strange for us as it was for him. Don't you two love birds go off getting married in some crazy latin outpost!
