It finally looks like the skies are ready to part a bit and let the sun shine after two days of blahhhh. I took Baylie for a walk this morning and saw the hugest coyote I've ever seen. He was as big as a golden retriever - yikes! He stared at me as he crossed the street and hiked up a neighbor's drive, "I'm just doing my own thing here, no need to panic. Although, that little dog of yours looks mighty tasty!" Thankfully Baylie's bangs keep him partially blind so he didn't even notice. That would have been a good time, I'm sure.
I was reading about Sarkozy's swearing in yesterday. I'm not familiar with the political climate in France, but it seems that Chirac wasn't an entirely effective president (sluggish economy, 8.3% unemployment rate). The things I've read recently about Sarkozy (conservative fascist) haven't been promising either. Speaking of politics, I must say that I'm a little bummed that Tony Blair is stepping down (or 'standing down' as the papers say) from his post. I like Tony; it sucks that he got jerked around by the hollow-headed ass clown (conservative fascist) who's running our country into the ground. Is it 2008 yet?!?!?
Anyhoo...time to get ready for work. Thanks for the comments on the blog - my peeps rock!

never been to denver
I'm going to Denver on business in July. I want to extend the trip with a little vacation. I'll be in the city for 3 days and then hope to stay outside for a little interaction with nature. Those of you who are regular Denver visitors or Denver locals....what's the best way for me to get a taste of Colorado right outside of Denver?
