Qin TombQin TombQin Tomb

I've been told that it wasnt the ming tomb i visited, but the qin tomb. Cant get in to edit the blog(thats why there is spelling mistakes in them all) Here is the correction
You cant visit xi'an without seeing the terra cotta army can you.
Got up early as i was given a lift by my friends from the previous night. Was driven to the Quin Tomb and get us both inside for free. They also also phoned one of thier friends who works at the terracotta warriors to arrange for me to get in free as well. Gladly accepeted as it was more than an hour away by bus.
Got to the TCA and got in through the side entrance. Decided to pay for a tour guide to explain the history of the place and it was worth it.
The place is amazing. took me over two hours to see everything. The guide was helpful and spoke good english. All the warriors are still not discovered and it will take at least 30 years to excavate the entire area.
Also went to the Ming tomb which is a few miles before the TCA. This is where the first emperor of china was buried. He was the king of the Quin kingdom, one of seven countrys at that time. He conquered the rest and united china. watch the movie Hero with Jet Li for more info on this. At the tomb their was a show for the visitors. The was lots of dancing and singing and the usual aerobatics. It was enjoyable.
Also went to the hot springs that day. It was where the emperor's built a shrine and palace for his favorite conqubine. Everyone was wanting to wash their hands and feet every chance they got. You could also take a shower for 200RMB which cost more than my hotel. It was crazy. The people of china really adore her for some reason that i cannot understand. Their was poems written everywhere about her. Every lantern, wall, building had something on it.
Got the bus back to Xi'an and that was intresting to say the least. The people fought to get on anyone that stopped. I was ushered on though with lots of shouting by the locals in the background. Sat squashed in the corner for over an hour. Not fun, but i saw a side of china that most tourists dont see and one that helped me over the next few days in Xi'an

photos will be put on if i can find somewhere that lets me use a

XIan and USB Ports
It sounds fantastic there mate, what a history behind that place. I think the problem with USB ports is they might think you could give their computers a virus or might be trying to steal data off the computer. Communism...
