Xi'an

Where do i start.
Fly to xian for 30quid. Flight took two hours. The shuttle bus into the city took longer. Was talking to a woman on the bus who spoke a bit of english. She told me a lot of useful things. She reccomended a hotel that was very cheap. 150RMB or 10pound a night.
I had to walk into a complex with some army guards satitioned outside at the gate. The hotel had a massive communist flag at full mast. The room was basic, but it had all the essientials and was clean. Stayed for 3nights.
Was taking to dinner by a local family i meet. I went and it was very different than the food i had eaten in Beijing. It was called Hot pot. It was very spicy and you order lots of food like mushrooms, lettuce, seeeweed, prawns, crab, pork, beef and you add them into the hotpot in the middle of the table to cook what you want to eat.
Meal was nice and i was given lots of advice on how to spend my time in Xi'an.
