Was waiting to publish this entry when i could put the photos on but haven't been able to. As you are starting to loose you're patience (i.e. Eili is loosing her patience), here goes! Photos will follow!...............................

Have had a fabulous time in australia and been enjoying my last few days meeting Andrews work colleagues and friends. Katherine is a really friendly place with very good vibes. Have come to rely on the vibes i get from a place, think it is a skill i have perfercted since being away. Am really sad to leave.

I fly to Auckland for the night on the 30th April, i stay there for a night and then fly on to LA. So, Andrew and i drove up to Darwin Saturday afternoon after his shift to spend my last day together seeing a bit more of the city.

On Sunday morning we got up and went to some cute weekend markets in Darwin. These markets had a strong south east asia influence - which i guess is no surprise considering the close proximity. It was like being transported back to the markets in Melaka and Kula Lumpa in Malaysia. Thinking back that far is weird - can't believe i only have 2 weeks of this trip left! Not sure i can face reality and the real world! Should investigate what qualifications you need to be a travel expert and apply immediatley!

In the evening Andrew and i went for dinner in a italian restaurant sat outside and then went to the beach to watch sunset. How romantic! That was until we sat on a wooden fence on the beach and it collapsed under us so we ended up on falling back flat on our arses! Good job we both have a sense of humour otherwise the moment could have really been ruined!

The sunset was really beautiful. At 7.30pm, Andrew dropped me off at Darwin airport where we said our goodbyes (for now) before he headed back to Katherine to start a night shift. I fly at 1.40am to Brisbane and then on to Auckland so have a bit of time to kill!

Langers - what can i say, its been fabulous! Bring on your trip to England! x x x

P.S Must just tell you all the very funny story about mine and Andrews walk in

Darwin in the woods. I went in flip flops wanting to look fashionable. Not very sensible at all. Andrew being more use to the big open country was better equiped. I walked through what seemed like a mud bath and lost one of my flip flops! i had mud everywhere! Very ammussing, especially when i asked Andrew if he thought i was use to the country yet and he politely said i was still a bit 'urbanised'!

Being inappropriately dressed is an artform Luce. Some of us perfect it early on, and it is best served with a huge dose of stubborness. From an early age I refused to get dressed the way I should for long skitrips with Pappa. Then when the weather changed I would nearly freeze to death and whinge/cry, and he took of his own hat, gloves etc. and put them on me. I think this has toughened him up. Now he seems to be an addict as he rolls in the snow after showers and sleeps with window open in -20. Perhaps this will happen similarly to your Andy, give him a few years and he will be rolling in mud! I think the fact that you fell off that bench signifies an abrupt end to a perfect romance, bit like a film I watched on monday. I HATE bad endings, so I like your "for now" comment. Don't let an American dude with big teeth called C.J who rides a mustang and thinks american football is not a game for whimps (all that bloody protection, "rugby" for sissies) and says "GEE" and "COOL" a lot whip you of your feet. I can just see him now with his back to front baseball cap and oversized trousers, WHO does he THINK HE IS!!??! Burgerfreak. And he thinks we all want to live there, well we DON'T!!! Civilised sophisticated and cultured people want to live in Norway for HIS INFORMATION! Ehhh...I just took a trip out to broaden my horizon. Don't fall for it Luce, go back to fun in the ambulance with Croc-man...look past those false white big teeth and THINK before you do something stupid.
