It's been a while since the last update (sorry, been having too much fun)

This was to be the last country before heading back to the UK to obtain a contract,

Another Cab takes us over the border from Albania to Greece,

We jump on a bus on the border and head towards the town of Ioannina. This is where we were going to grab some transport out to the monasteries of Meteora. (Mum and Dad advised us to check these out, they missed them and always regretted it.)

So that’s basically how the travel plans were made, and I'm sure glad we did.

We arrive in Ioannina in the morning, a bus to Meteora leaves at 3pm. We bunk down to spend a few hours before the bus leaves. Cam goes to grab the tickets to find it had already left... WHAT ??? we then find out that on heading over the border from Albania, an hour had been lost... didn't we look the stupid travelers.... so we change our watches and organise the trip for early the next day.

Meterora !!! WOW WOW WOW.. These amazing vertical cliffs with monasteries built upon

These monasteries on the rock formations are amazing
them rise from out of nowhere. If anyone remember the James Bond film "For Your Eyes Only", Bond rock climbs up the face of the cliff to get into the monastery. Well this is exactly what this place looked like. Very impressed and one of the main highlights of the trip.

The next day we arrive by train in Athens’s and find a nice hotel with a view to the Acropolis. Well I have to say I was very impressed with Athens. Most people told me it was polluted, well they must have done one big clean up for the Olympics as it was very clean.

I had been on the road for 5 months and my sight seeing bug has run its course. But with Athens having so many things to see I pushed on (LOL). The Acropolis was interesting to walk round, but it's a shame as pretty much the whole Parthenon was covered in scaffolding, so I will defiantly go back when they finish it. "Only taken them a few odd thousand years" I can wait a few thousand more...

After a few relaxing days in Athens we jump on a EzyJet plane back to the UK, and find we are sitting right behind the guy who owns the whole airline. Stelious who is worth around 4.5 billion. He told us he had around 150 planes in the company and more coming in all the time. This guy would have read around 10 newspapers and 10 magazines on the flight. So that’s how u get rich people............ read, learn and gain knowledge.

Well it's time now that I get a job and earn some money so I can do it all over again.

I hope everyone is well and I will post again soon.
