ME!ME!ME!

I took this of me in front of the Parliament Building.
Well, I flew thousands of miles, and the first business I see after getting off the plane is... Starbucks. It made me laugh, so I bought a tea, that's where my first dollar was spent overseas. Then I rode the Tube to Picadilly Circus, I got above ground and was surrounded by beautiful buildings with columns and carvings everywhere, and the buildings were just boring old businesses, nothing special. So this is my first impression of London. I walked around and saw Buckingham Palace, St James Place, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. They were all very big and beautiful, just like they look in pictures. I wandered around the River Thames (which is very dirty- ick) and hopped aboard a boat to eat fish and chips and drink some tea overlooking the River.

London was very pretty and much of what I was expecting. It was really cool to just listen to people talk with their accents and different works. The flight attendent was gathering 'rubbish' in his garbage bag- hehe. I didn't sleep at all on the flight to London, so I was really tired by the end of my London tour, then I was going back to the airport during rush hour so I had to stand on the return trip on the Tube. When I was waiting for my flight to Athens I couldn't even sit down because I would fall asleep. Needless to say I slept the whole flight to Athens... but now that's getting to another day.

I'm not really sure what the name of this building is, but I saw it across the river and loved it. In front is a beautiful garden that you can walk through.

Parliament Funk-a-delic!!!
This is like so awesome. Yes I'm a few days behind on your travels but I'm stoked to finally have time to read and see pics of it! I'd love to just relax and eat some fish-n-chips (authentic!) like an official london-ist. I'm reminded of the movie "The Bourne Supremecy", if I were there I'd totally be acting parts of it out. I'm stoked about your trip this is so rad!
