Hello everyone!
I apologize for not finding time to write sooner but there is simply so much to do and every second I feel the urge and desire to see and experience everything.
So the past several days in recap...
Departure troubles...
Of course it would have been way to nice, simple, and easy if I got to London without any troubles but alas it was not easy it was in fact hard and simply a pain.
I had to fly from Columbus to Clevland and then to New York before I flew to London. The very first experience in my trip was a two hour delay in my flight from Columbus to Cleveland. Yippee! But I had a book and the time passed quickly.
When the plane finially arrived I found that it was a 19 person plane that worked on two propellers, not engines. Not reassuring. It also didn't help that the stewardess was obviously new to the job and fumbled over her words and did nothing to help my confidence in my little toy plane. I remember that during the safty speach she spoke of our Dash 8-200 plane's crash plans and such. All I could think of is that 200 is not a very large number. But for all my qualms the little plain did the job. I liked it so much in fact I felt it suitable to leave my travel journal (that I had logged one page in) as a token of my affection for my lil plane. Just call me stupid!
I got to JFK in New York at about 8:30 making it extremely difficult to catch my 7:00 plane to London. So I had to endure another 2 hour layover for the 10:30 flight.
Finially got on the plane to London and do not remember much of the trip because I took two Benedril and was out like a light.
During this whole process, first delayed flight, changed second flight I had a terrible feeling that my bag was somehow going to get missplaced and I was completely correct!! I found myself in London England with nothing more than the clothes I was wearing and the small provisions I had put in my day pack. Things were just getting better and better for me!!
My first priority was to find a hostel to stay in. Wandered aimlessly around for a while having no reference for where I was or where I was heading. Stopped at an internet terminal in a train station and found a desireable hostel not far from where I was. Thinking that it was the off season I expected to find a room easily. Again I was mistaken. St. Christopher's Inn sent me away with no room. I checked one down the street called Dover Castel, same deal but they were connected with another hostel that did have space. Desperate for a place to use as a base station I accepted. I rode the bus for about 20 min to the hostel. Was looking out the window and noticed that the neighborhood continued to get less and less welcome. Lots of graffiti and people loitering. Got to the hostel. It was cheap and not nice. I did a little sight seeing but came back early and slept in my clothes. What a sitatution!! In a brand new continent, in a new city, without a bag, and in a less than desireable neighborhood. If I was a superstitious person I would have thought that my trip was in great peril!
The next day I went back to Dover Castle which had room for me. Have been there ever since and things have been getting better and better since!
So many stories to tell but not the time to do it. I have grudgingly taken this time to write when I could be out exploring. So with out further ado I'm outa here!!

Glad you're safe!
I am so sorry to hear of your troubles already! You are much braver of a soul than I have ever thought of being. We are on Spring Break now and I will be back in the classroom on Monday. I plan on putting up a "Where's Mo" bulletin board so an info about where you are and what you have seen would be awesome. Enjoy!
