Im not a fan of marmite, but im really loving bangkok at the moment.

Today we visited the weekend market, it was huge and very hot walking around. I was very surprised that we didnt get hassled by anyone on this market, it made for a much more pleasent experience. I manged to avoid spending any money on useless items, which was an added bonus!

We also visited the the siam centre area, which is home to most of the shopping malls in Bangkok. We were amazed to see a Ford GT40 outside on the street and inside in one floor ferrari, lamborgini, porsche, lotus, bentley and maserati all had showrooms!!!

The foodhall in Paragon Hall is something else. I had been told about this place before I cam, but couldnt believe the size and selection on offer. I even checked out the price of a Maccy D's 1.50!! for a big mac meal.

When we were talking about this trip the three of us agreed we would not go bowling. Well one day into the trip and we found ourselves in a bowling alley in the mall. To be fair it was an amazing centre and you would find nothing even close to it back home. And for the record Kev lost, but hes used to that!!

In the evening we went for a meal in the Hard Rock cafe. Our first Hard Rock experience out of many along the way.

They had a live band on called 69 and they were very good, so we stayed here till about 1am.
Now I dont know what it is but I felt like I was wearing some kind of pheromone spray, as I ws so attractive to the thai females, I put it down to the new shaven thug haircut!!

We met a guy called Roland from Germany, and he became our guide for the rest of the night, telling us about the do's and donts. We went to a nightclub called the tunel, it had no sign on the doors, but was obviously a place that those in the know would goto, very classy, good music and the most unusual experience when using the toilet.

While going to the toilet a guys comes up and puts a hot towl on your neck and starts to massage your neck, they then wash your hands and then bends you into the most unusual positions, clicking bones that you didnt even know existed. A strange experience, but pleasent.
After the club we went down the road and had a bowl of noodle and chicken soupvat 4.30 in the morning, which considering this was a sunday/momday early morning it was stange how many people and street vendors are about. Back at home most clubs arent even open and 4.30am would be like a ghost town.

We also saw our first ladyboys of the trip touting for business on a street corner. I really cant see who would pick these up but someone must! otherwise they wouldnt do it.

well im sat here writing this on april 9th @3pm and the boys are still in asleep. Perhaps im turning into a party animal can drink lots and wake up early and feel good, now gonna go to the hotel gym.
