YAY! Yesterday I made more friends! Michael who is from Germany, Jessica from Toronto, Pete from London (who may I add was WEARING the same Beckham jersey that I have-he gets 10 brownie points ), and then there was Faris with us as well. We had a blast at dinner actually. We went for our free dinner, and it's at this pub, so we went and sat upstairs, and we played several games of pool. There was a jukebox thingy so we kept hearing snippits of old 80's and 90's songs. It was like flashback old school overload! I was on Pete's team, and then Michael and Jessica were a team with Faris going in w/ them every other turn. Pete and I finally won a game! It was the last game as well! We had been in the lead each game, but then we would miss sinking the black ball in, but we finished strong and won! I shouldn't be this excited for pool, but it was nice to have a group of people to hang out with. I'm definitely going to have to exchange e-mails, phone numbers, etc. with them. Not to mention the accents are HOTT. Especially the british accent...haha. It was like my own personal David Beckham talking to me. Literally, haha...jk. After pool, we played a not so exciting game of "Simpson's LIFE". Yeah, took us wayyyy too long...We didn't finish it. We got too bored. Jessica was still on Toronto time, and she ended up going to bed, while Pete, Faris, Michael, another guy, and myself watched "Borat". I kept dozing off, but after the movie we all headed to bed at about 12:45.

Today I am going to the Easter Festival here in Sydney with my friend Lisa. I don't know too much about it, but apparently people from all over Australia come to Sydney to go to it. It's a week or 2 week long festival.

Here's what I THINK is the right information about the Easter Show :

Royal Easter Show

The Show combines exhibits, competitions and entertainment over two weeks at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. Gates open at 9:00am every day for the 14 days of the Show.

The Shows major attractions include:

The Main Arena evening spectacular with the Sydney Royal Rodeo, one of Australia s richest rodeos, culminating in a Champion of Champions event; brand new manoeuvres from the Xtreme Korruption incorporating the Freestyle MotoX team, the Holden Stormriders and the Shows own Precision Horse Riding Team; and international sensation Lady Cannonball. Each night will end in a bang as the Fireworks Finale lights up the skies over Sydney Olympic Park.

Around the grounds entertainment will include: brand new next generation extreme carnival rides; Australia s top fashion designers in The Shape Parades; the Coca-Cola Zone; the Monster Skate Park; and two live music venues featuring some of Australia s hottest acts.

Family favourites like The Sunday Telegraph Animal Walk and the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome are key parts of Show tradition, and kids of all ages will be thrilled by over 300 Showbags on offer, colourful parades, enchanting street theatre, and a variety of culinary delights including award winning Sydney Royal produce as well as the ever popular Show favourites.

The Show has hundreds of commercial exhibitors, of which half comprise a wide range of commercial exhibitors who use the Show to launch products, raise brand awareness and reach the Show’s large audience. Everything from farm machinery and garden products to clothing, jewellery and even pets are on sale at the Show.

Well, it's about 9AM and I'm about to hear from my family! YAY! I'm exciteddddd...Then I'm waiting for Faris to get up so I can say goodbye to him before he leaves to another hostel and before I leave. THEN Lisa is coming around 10:30-11:00AM or so and we're heading off to the Festival! Tonight is Mad Monday-crazy nights here. I think it's like a pub/club crawl type thingy...We get sweet t-shirts though for participating Should be a fun day and night overall. I'm really looking forward to today.

Happy Easter to those back home! Have a great holiday

for my family;
Play a few games of UNO for me if you play any games today!

And I'm definitely missing our milk that we have back home. Had milk for the first time today, and it's like thick, full fat milk. GROSS. Had to dump out my cereal. It was grody. Just not used to it. It's like that in Hawaii too. Way too thick/heavy. I really can't wait to have our AMAZING milk from back home...
