We woke up in Kilarney, ears still ringing from the night before, but ready to go. Sarah had some tea with a lovely women from England, and we all did some last minute shopping at Dunnes (like a Walmart). Unfortunately, Gabriel recieved some bad news about one of his friends, which changed the tone of the ride a little.
We crossed the Shannon River on a Ferry (bus and all) and Kris saw a Dolphin. We learned a lot about the potato famine throughout our journey (very depressing). The history learned on tours like this is awesome, it really makes you feel like you know the country and its people better. The most breath-taking sights were on the Cliffs of Moher (see pictures below). Words cannot describe!
After a picnic lunch in a small farm town, PB&J, we made our way into Galway. The water is undrinkable due to it containing crypto...which could kill you. But besides the contaminated water, which they dont really like to talk about because its a problem they've been working awhile to fix, they city is amazing, one of our many favorites. We shopped around for a while and then went to dinner
in a traditional Irish Pub with great live music. Kel got to show off her mad dancing skills yet again, and Kris and Sarah learned some "Irish" from a drunk guy in King's Head.
Sleep was great after a massage/ stretching session on the floor of our hostel room, shared with 5 other people.
