pigs trotters!!
in the local meat market...all unrefridgerated....horrible!! gagged at the sight of it... One of the most chilled out places in the world, people so laid back and not so much to do apart from eat, drink and for me.....be sick..!!
It was like a mini Scarborough...minus the floating tampons and poo in the sea...!! we even stayed in a pink hotel on the sea...oh I mean lake front, it was class!!
we met up with Lauren and Keely again but I only lasted a couple of hours before heading back to our room to be sick when food came out. i perked up the next day and managed brekky with them and then me n sal climed the big hill which was pretty cool!! then we went out for a five course meal for 1 pound 20!!! I thought I would try the locals dish - trout...big regret as I was hovering over the toilet at 2am!! we were ue to go on the Isla Del Sol trip the next day but I couldnt move out of bed and we slept through the alarm but dont think we missed out on too much...we reckon the previous island trip would have been better and didnt fancy sticking around for another day
to get more ill!! Nice place but not soo much to do and pretty cold after people told us it was warm....we made it out for some night life but when some locals trie dto pick us up we decided it was time to leave!
we had a look around the cathedral which was pretty cool and Sal manage dto see the blessing of the cars on sunday, where everyone brings their cars and the priest blesses them and flowers get attached to them...strange!! We went for a walk around the markets which was pretty cool...true meat markets with pigs trotters and cows heads urgghh!!
The bus trip on the way to La Paz was class, we all hoyed our luggage on to the top of the bus and then half way through the journey we had to get off and get on a little boat whilst our little bus went on a nother boat...so funny!!!
