Well, the plane flight went better than expected. For anyone who is interested in travelling overseas, Thai Airways is excellent. The service was fantastic, and the food was very, very yummy. London is cold and wet - a nice welcome for 2 Aussies very much used to hot and sunny. We are going to do the tourist thing tomorrow, hopping on the underground and popping up all over the place seeing the sights. We went for a walk this morning into town, and a half hour stroll turned into an hour long trek, just to get to Harrods! Myer has nothing on this place! For those of you meat-eaters, steak was £38.50 a kilo. Double it and add a bit and you get the aus$ equivalent. I'm guessing there's not alot of steak eaters around here - either that or everyone earns a nice packet over here.
We heard more car horns beeping here than we ever heard in Brissy - seems you have to be quick off the mark at the lights or someone is honking you. Pedestrians also seem to have right of way, as the only people we saw looking both ways before crossing the streets were us.
It is now 3.25pm, and we are heading up to our room to have a sleep. We don't feel too bad, as we had quite abit of sleep on the plane on the way over.
No photos as yet - will post some as soon as we get some of the sites tomorrow.

cheers,
Teresa, Sel and Chester
