the day started off at 7:30 am (why so early i dont know) with the same buffet breakfast at the keio plaza hotel. its ok, but getting a little old. then, a trip on the train to the the yoyogi park and the shrine that was there. there was actually one couple getting their wedding pictures taken there, and also a procession of another wedding party i think. it was very different than an american wedding. first off, people were in traditional japanese garb. and it was really somber and kind of depresssing. after that, we wandered out of the park and stumbled upon this outdoor market that we apparently caught the last day of. got some snack food and i bought some stuff to bring back to LA. after that, we went to shibuya which was PACKED with people, mostly 18-25 year old girls since the area had a ton of shops that catered to that specific group. then, harajuku to see some pretty interesting people who unfortunately i didn't get the chance to take that many pictures of. those two areas were extremely crowded... it was hard to even move!! anyway, that was what we did for most of the day. i'm just so tired now and my feet are aching. haha.. i hope tomorrow isn't as strenuous.

What a trip
Wow, what a trip! And this is only in Tokyo so far. It reminds me of when I went to Japan many years ago. I went to many of the same cities you're going to. I really remember going to Kyoto and seeing an opera in the traditional Opera House they have there. Fabulous costumes, they were to die for. I look forward to many more adventures of yours and to reliving my own life through you. I fantasize about seeing the world through your eyes and being a small girl again, trapped in a big city.
