Aww how cute
Sasha and I - she was "Simba/Nala" from "The Lion King" lol her tail kept getting longer and longer, and then it just fell apart. One of those Hawaiian necklaces that's like plastic scrunched up to look like flowersSo we're still in o week, and it's certainly been crazy. On Tuesday night we had a "Lane Party" which was only for our hall and took place within the hall, and in the front lane-hence "Lane Party". It was pretty funny to see 200something people just running around acting crazy. On top of that, it was a costume themed party-"heroes, heroines, and villians". I went as an angel, but then it just became a kind of "meh whatever you think I am" outfit. A lot of people went as other things besides heroes as well. Well as Tuesday night rolled on, I ended up getting stuck talking to two of my hallmates until almost 4:30am. Don't get me wrong they're great guys, but by then I was getting pretty tired. I was just about to not go to sleep because we had to get up at 7am to leave by 8 to go to a water park. Luckily I did get up in time and we so could have slept in an extra hour. It took so long to wake people up and get out of bed, that we all were falling asleep at the bus stop.
Wednesday during
Lane Party
Chris from down the hall and myself the day, I hung out with Jarred, Jessica(american), and Kristen(american). Jarred was nice enough to take us through all the rides and show us around the water park a bit. "Wet n Wild" definitely is a cool place to go to if you can. It's pretty close to the Gold Coast and they have buses that you can take back and forth. Ended up floating around Calypso River or whatever it's called for little over an hour with Jessica and Kristen. By then Jarred and the other guys weren't having anymore floating and left us. That's when they came back later and we all decided to go on this big ride where you can fit 6 people into a raft and you go all around and down this huge slide. It was SO MUCH FUN! I loved that ride...Kristen kept falling over so it just made it more hilarious!
By the time we finally got back to school it was 5:30pm. Just by observation, most of us finished the rides at about noon or 1pm. Lots of sleeping, swimming, and burning. I got pretty dark as I figured I would, but I think I might peel on my shoulders
Lane Party
Doug from down the hall and myself this time. Well after we got back we had a movie night and watched "Borat" and "Blood Diamond". "Blood Diamond" is such a good movie-gory but good. My friend Sasha and I always end up talking to all of the guys on our floor because as funny as it is, we have basically all of the guys at our wing of the dorm, where as the other wing has some guys but it's mostly girls. They just manage to keep us up and talking into all hours, leaving Sasha and I wanting time to just chat to each other. But they don't seem to get that...a certain few of them...Finally got to bed at about 3, and woke up at 8:30 to Jarred knocking at my door to go to breakfast. It's only 9:15am now.
Today we have some time of bowling games starting at 6pm this evening, so we have the day to ourselves which is SO NICEEEEEEE. It's gotten to the point now where we've all become such great friends on our floor that it's going to be hard to leave at the semester. I think once school gets going we'll all obviously be way more busy,

L-R: Tatiana, Jessica(both from my wing of the hall),someone, someone, and Will(my end of the hall as well). Those two girls are from the other wing-I just can't remember their names sadly... but we're still going to have an amazing time. Apparently the floor with the most first years (actually our floor whoo hoo!) usually has the most fun. So I'm definitely looking forward to this semester and all of our crazy moments that we're going to have 😊
