I know, I know, It’s been awhile since I blogged. Sorry all. Just having too much fun, what can I say?

After flying in to Heathrow from Washington, we wait for our baggage…. And wait…. And wait. See we just caught the flight from Washington to Heathrow as our New York flight was delayed, and guess what. Our luggage didn’t quite make it. So oh well, London on smelly clothes.

After getting our accommodation in Queens Park, we headed into London to meet Cam and Tracey for Australia day. But unfortunately Daz, Mai and myself were like zombies with only 2-3 hrs sleep over the previous 48 hours so we ended up heading home around midnight.

That night we all experienced the most uncomfortable sleep, the beds we had must have been 100 years old as all the springs punctured thru the mattress and as you can imagine we didn’t get much sleep. (the next day we went out and bought mattress covers to make life a little more comfortable). 26 pound a night each was a little pricey when we had to buy our own bed covers and towels but oh well all part of travel I guess and a big wake up call for the expensive city of London.

Over the next few days we saw the sights and delights of London town, Big Ben, Tower of London, the eye, Buckingham palace and a few other bits and pieces.

Daz and Mai then headed to Paris and Cam and I headed to Guildford to spend a few days with Tracey.

Thanks again Trace for putting up with us. It was an enjoyable and relaxing stay in the little countryside village. Guildford has a great “creek”!!!

Keep the comments coming. If you haven’t left a message yet, drop a line and say hi. I’d like to know who is actually viewing them,

Roh

Great place to be when the sun\
Hi Rohan, The travel blogs are great, they will be a great memory and you should make the most of it. I've walked over London Bridge it's a bit of a dissapointment when compared to the Tower Bridge. My memory of London was how nice the people are when the Sun is out and quick the parking police are to ping you. We have been following your trip when we can and we are all jelous :) Have Fun champ.
