KATIE: Well, here I am in the car on my way to Oregon. My family and I have been in the car 24 hours or in my mom’s case too long! Last night I slept in the car. I woke up every hour! (1:30,2:30,3:30,4:30ect....) I live in Minnesota right? Well when it’s 6:00 in MN it’5:00 where I am now. We are seeing BEAUTIFUL things, mountain every where I look puffy white clouds, blue sky ,and valleys and hills. I have been through Minnesota , North Dakota , I’m in Montana I will go through Idaho, Oregon, and the top of California to see giant redwoods. A car can drive through them. The hotel we’re staying at is made out of 1 redwood tree! In Oregon I’m going to see the ocean. We are watching movies on my laptop. I am constantly putting on lip-gloss (no clue why.)Trust me with what I’m about to type * If you are going West Do Not I repeat Do Not Drive take a plane but if you do be sure to read Amelia’s Notebook Road Trip and Boredom Busters*. No not Amelia Bedelia .I am not taking naps on this trip ‘cause I am going to fall asleep and never wake up. My mom is knitting a scarf for a surprise my neighbor who is taking care of my brother’s Hermit Crabs. Oh, did I tell you we are on our trip for 2 WEEKS! I just love *********ROAD TRIPS*********.Don’t you? If you like this I will be writing every day of my trip. Those of you who don’t like this just shut down your computer or laptop. It is 4:00. How ‘bout you? Well I am going to Watch Star Wars episode 2. Don’t forget to check back tomorrow and see what’s going on .

Enjoyed your blog or whatever you call it, Katie. Hilarious! Especially the part about your mom being in the car too long. Makes me appreciate the long road trips I took with family as a child. Tell your mom I called the other night and even stopped by your house to see if she was home. Also I'm wondering where MY scarf is (just kidding Cheryl). Have fun!
