Met up and had dinner with a few girls from my hostel last night. They had just been on the ayers rock tour and were telling how amazing it is.
But, will have to get over my cleanliness OCD behaviour as no showers for 2 days, long walks in the outback getting very sweaty, and the worst - no toilets so you just take a spade and go off into the outback!! aahgg! i'm sure i'll live to tell the tale!
Been into alice springs today. its really quiet, not alot going on. think most backpackers come here to get a connection tour to ayers rock. Went to a museum of aboriginal history and art and saw how didgeridos are made! Friends arrive in an hour so will have dinner together, catch up and have an early night as leave at 4.30am.
Off to sunbathe by the pool now. its is so hot its unbelievable. Its a really dry heat where in asia it was very humid. my hair prefers it here as less frizz!
Will put lots of pics on in the next few days. Then on to cairns, where its cyclone season and there is actually a cyclone now!
