in Shingle Springs, outside of SacramentoWe finally hit the road the other day- Saturday- and made it out to Sacto to visit some friends. We drove all the way out here on veggie oil, which was great, and had to fuel up from a restaurant for the first time today. It was really messy and more time-consuming than we had imagined, but definitely worth it, especially when you consider that a 40 gallon tank of diesel costs around $120!
So far we've had a great time visiting friends, watching the superbowl, and sleeping in. We're off to Yosemite tomorrow for a few days of hiking, and then to Death Valley, so there should be some more pictures up soon!
