Arrived safely in Auckland yesterday after the long flights. It was quite a good journey considering the distance although I am pretty jet lagged still. We explored the city centre yesterday to find our way round and have been up the Sky tower this morning, which is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. I was happy to enjoy the views but there were several people bungee jumping off the top! We also went to a couple of the parks and to the museum.
It all seems very nice here so far. It is very sunny (25oC) so walking around is lovely and the city has a nice mix of skyscrapers, green spaces and a harbour. We have another day in Auckland tomorrow.

Hey Rach! Glad you're having a good time. Funny hearing that the Sky Tower is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere, remember being told that about the one in Melbourne! Australia and NZ are always competing with each other for that title! Keep having fun, Jen xx
