My task was to organise
8 girls together on holiday!!! Luckily it wasn’t a hard task at all because everyone knew each other and got on really well!!! We stayed at the
Aloi Hotel which was stunning! Our rooms were nice and clean and had loads of room.
First day was soooooooooo hot outside!!! We all went to the poolside to do a bit of bathing and of course the sleepyheads (Vicks & Dania) were the last to get up! We then walked over to the beach which was about a 20 minute walk and decided to eat some lunch at a nearby restaurant! On the way back to our hotel, we (except Dania & Renee) booked a trip to the
Samaria Gorge at a nearby travel office then walked back to our hotel to have showers and get ready for dinner and an evening out on the town!!! The food was great and the night out was so fun! We were going to all the bars which were offering free shots, had 1, danced, then moved onto the next bar offering shots!!! It went on the whole night and all of us were drunk and dancing and having loads
of fun!!!
Next morning we missed our alarm to get up and get ready for the
Samaria Gorge. The hotel reception kept calling us, but we were so out of it we didn’t hear anything, luckily we finally did because the coach nearly left without us!!! It was so funny all of us running to the coach, half a sleep and in our slippers!!! Everyone on the coach must have been thinking we were going to trek like that, but we had our stuff ready the night before in a bag!!! We didn’t get to hear the intro because we all conked out on the coach!!! That will teach us not to drink the night before a trek!!!
When we arrived at the Gorge, we started walking slowly down the mountains. We knew it would going to be
13kilometres, but we were hurting!!! The tour guide had given us a 30 minute head start and he practically ran past us!!! Of course he’s probably done this more then a 1000 times, but he was telling us how slow we were and we needed to catch up!!! So we were trekking and finally we got to the half point!!!
We were not looking forward to starting again, but if we wanted to get back to the hotel we would have too!!! I should mention that the views of the Gorge were absolutely stunning!!! It was a beautiful experience which I wouldn’t have changed, pain or no pain!!! Anyway when the Gorge was over, we were all relieved and also thankful!!! Back to sleep on the coach and too bed after nice hot showers!!!
Next day the girls on the trek were in absolute pain!!! Our legs were killing!!! Luckily we had decided to stay by the pool until we had to get ready for our Greek Dinner we booked for that evening in town!!! We so needed the relaxation because if we did anything else that morning/afternoon, we would of probably failed!!! We decided that we were not going to go out that evening because our legs were still killing, but after our fantastic meal, we still ended up Greek dancing in the middle of the streets and having a fun night!!! All worth the pain!!!
The next day was another relaxing day and we all decided to hire quads for the day. We went to eat
by the beach again and had big breakfasts & tea, then hired 4 quads. I was sitting with Dania, which is a good thing because I don’t drive and am scared of the roads. We rode into town and parked by a beach and climbed rocks a little, then drove to another beach where we could do a bit of bathing. On the way back I decided I wanted to give it a go!!! OMG!!! I had a great time riding the bike!!! I was driving slow, fast, slow, fast, but I was loving the fast. At one point I nearly put me and Dania out of action because I nearly drove us into a big pole!!! We were screaming as we were coming towards it and I was soooo scared, but literally centimeters away, I managed to turn and miss the pole!!! We were scared shitless but laughing at the same time!!!
After all the excitement we all got ready again to go for dinner. We also had to return the quads unfortunately!!! We ate by the beach again and Beth & Chloe joined us for dinner! Beth & Chloe were staying at our hotel and we met
them by the pool. Chloe was a sweet little girl who I got on with (as usual). We had eaten so much we all wished we still had the quads to drive back to hotel!!! We changed again and went out to town. We went back to some of the same clubs as before, but ended up at the club with the pole dancing, which our Renee took a shining too!!! She was pulling in the crowds and managed to get us free shots. We all had a go which was fun and then Beth came with her date and showed us how to pole dance (I forgot to mention she’s a pole dancer). She was great!!! She managed to keep herself on top of the pole with her legs and do turn and twists!!! We were all screaming and clapping!!!
Next day me, Cutes & Vix were going to
Spinalonga and
Agios Nikolaos Town. We had booked it with the hotel days before. We started at
Agios Nikolaos Town which had a beautiful harbor with great restaurants and great little streets and markets. After walking around a little, we took a ferry to
Spinalonga. When we got on
the island we were already feeling pretty sad because of the stories the guide was telling us about how they were treated and how they lived!!! Even though most houses on the island are half gone, you can still imagine how it all looked!!! Even the families were treated badly when they came to visit!!! The way people were treated back in those times were horrible and unfair!!! But is it different now? When we left the island we were all still feeling pretty low. It was nice to get back to the hotel and see the girls. They were gutted they didn’t come!!! This night we all decided to go to
Malia. It was definitely different to our town, but enjoyable!
The last day we were going to the Waterpark!!! We all had lots of fun and Renee gave us and everyone that was watching a little entertainment by finding herself a pole!!! We ended the night at
Malia again with Beth. It was an interesting night with Beth but that’s all I’m saying!!! All the girls had fun and we danced the night away. We were leaving really early that morning so we decided to stay away
and finish packing. It was sad to end the holiday with everyone…
