In Australia our retreats were in "glamorous" locations like Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Werribee. In London, they take you to Lisbon, Madrid and Prague for work retreats. It's a tough life, going to Prague and "team-building" with work colleagues, staying in a five star hotel (paid for by the company) and going out to fancy restaurants instead of actually working.
My only complaint is that Prague in January is not the warmest time of year to visit. Brrrrr. It was not as cold as it normally is, but I can imagine it would be far nicer in summer. Still, the compromise of colder weather and less crowds isn't a bad one. Prague had more than enough people laden with maps, cameras and bags of tacky souvenirs crowding the Charles Bridge while I was there.
We were stuck in our hotel for a few days attending boring seminars, but when I managed to escape, it was marvellous just wandering the streets of Prague, admiring the fabulous architecture. Art nouveau is one of my favourite styles and is an obvious influence in Prague buildings along with the beautiful works of Alfons Mucha. Bliss.
Not even a crazy taxi driver
and a case of food poisoning ruined my experience of Prague. It didn't have the marvellous chocolate of Belgium, but life isn't all about food, right?

Prague looks stunning! (Such a rough old joint to have to retreat to!)SO sorry to hear about the food poisoning...or was it delayed reaction from too much chocolate in Belguim?
