Thursday 21st Dec
I got up early to get ready for Paul’s arrival. I got the 6.55 shuttle to the airport with all my bags- I now had 2 -one full of presents and things for Paul to take home. I got a text of him as he arrived and as I stood waiting for him I kept seeing people who looked a bit like him. But then I saw a red t-shirt and new it was him. Of course he came down the entrance furthest from me so I ignored the do not cross line and don’t leave your bags to go and meet him.
We then got on a double decker train and then a ferry across to Manly were we stayed in an apartment which is very modernly finished. While Paul caught up on sleep went to the shops and then cooked dinner. WE made it out for one drink before sleep was calling again.

Friday 22nd Dec
We went for a wander- which ended up being a 4 hour walk around the bay with a taxi ride back! We thought we were still really far away- it turned out it was prob only another half an hour walk but it was lunch time so the taxi was appreciated. The we fell asleep for most of the afternoon.
In the evening we went out for dinner- we wandered around for ages almost ending up back at the restaurant that we first looked at, but in the end we settled for a pizza place where neither of us had pizza!
