Is this ever going to feel like it's actually happening? For the last hour I've been re-reading all of my Carnival information, both the formal stuff from the company and the countless "tips" emails from friends who have sailed before. I read it all and still can't quite believe this is about to become my regular lifestyle.
Between Christmas parties, family gatherings and visits with friends, the only thing that feels somewhat real is this feeling of impending distance that will soon be between me and whomever/wherever I am at that given moment. This extended distance is going to be my big challenge.
Back to packing . . .

A good thing
extended distance will be a good thing Netter. The challenge is definately there but it's challenges that we overcome that make us stronger individuals. Once you're on the boat... then it'll feel real. Good luck babe. I'm off to Roatan tomorrow morning nice and early. Hopefully I'll find an internet cafe I can write from at least once. Talk to you soon!
