Jodhpur
And yes, this is where the name for 'Jodhpurs' for riding trousers comes from.
Again we enjoyed great rooftop restaurants under the stars- with huge bats flying overhead. We got stuck into some intense gambling too (poker with matchsticks!). There's another fort here as well, which has a cool headphone tour- a man with a funny accent tells you which way to go and stories about old times. The view from the top is great- all the city's buildings are blue (which apperently acts as insect repellent, though we didn't see any evidence of it).

New Year
Hi - have not quite figured out yet how all this `blog` stuff works ...but love the pictures and you both look as if you are having a ball!! India looks amazing - and I am sure Thailand is too! Back to school now -very early this year- so Christmas decorations are still hanging about - which I hate!! The winter has been amazingly mild with no frost so far...so we still have nasturtians and tobacco flowers in bloom in the garden!! Astonishing for Jan 2nd! Have booked to go to Marrakesh for 3 days in Feb half term - coutesy of Easyjet - a small gesture towards an exotic get-away ..but a start at least! Loads of love MumX
