Went to work on Wednesday and salsa demo’d for all to see. Wednesday night was working in Southminster. After leaving the office late I had just enough time to smarten up before heading there. Was rushing soo much it was ironic that I arrived ½ hr early. I was so tired I fell asleep in the car!! Woke up just in time for the meeting, which fortunately was short and sweet. Got in and me and the wife gotta takeaway curry.. yum! Needed to recover from the exciting day!

Thursday was ok, busy day at work. Went to dive club in the evening and did some more of my search and recovery course. Was good fun. Ended up at the pub as usual and got persuaded to go to London with Wayne and Jeff in Wayne’s lorry.

It was dark and cold out - the lorry was warm tho! We drove to New Covent Garden passing Big Ben as it chimed 2oclock in the morning. The river view was very pretty and there was hardly anyone out and about. We had hot chocolates in the lorry before heading back to Heybridge. Very odd evening - didn’t get back to Braintree until 5am. Was shattered - had a nap in the lorry. Who knows what we were searching for!

Friday I had the day off work and spent it in Braintree with my Mum. We walked the dogs (when I finally woke up) and put up xmas decorations.

I headed home to Colchester for the evening and went to town with Lucy, Katherine (Tamsin’s friend from 6th form) and Wayne and Jeff. Katherine and I danced the night away in Edwards - Lucy got broken by Wayne with shots etc (apparently only recovered late Saturday night!).

Saturday I finally got outta bed at about 12pm (did get up before then but went back to bed as it was warm!) and headed to South Woodham Ferrers to Mike from Diving’s house - more search and recovery. Was expected to be able to do Maths! Yeah right!!! Was ok tho! Went back to Braintree after the course to sort my dive kit out. Watched Robin Hood (series) with my Dad (Robin and his men are all quite good looking!) and Casualty with my mum).

Sunday I was up at 6.30am and went to Gildenburgh diving. The water was 8’c BRRRRR and we did 2 dives one searching for something (which we didn’t find as it was to well hidden!) and one recovering something! I was of course the best student! I was quite cold after the activities and had got a chesty cough again! Isn’t diving FANTASTIC!

I got back to Braintree for about 2.30pm and had some roast dinner and talked to our Australia relatives from Sydney who had come to visit. Was great - the food helped thaw me out!

I left at about 6pm back to Colchester where I collapsed in a heap! The cough was growing and had turned into a very attractive death rattle! Mmmmmmmm
