well i have offically been here for 3 months. i honestly cant believe it has been that long already, where has the time gone. i feel like just last week i was chillin in cat city for moon festival with my crew, and a week before i was in taipei at orientation making some really great friends. i decided to make a list of things i have learned about taiwan and myself in these 3 months.

- i can successfully use a squatter but i prefer to search for the western toilets.
- i always carry tissues and an umbrella with me
- my scooter is my closest friend
- mcdonalds and kfc are ok to eat every week cause sometimes you just want to have food from home (ps i love kfc twisters)
- taiwan does not offer a large variety of foods like the states, i miss having choices
- it is important to have friends to experience things with and to complain with
- let out your frustrations to your friends and not to your teachers
- speak slowly and clearly
- treat yourself every week for a job well done and another week of surviving here
- its ok to be homesick, it comes and goes
- remember your friends at home arent really doing anything that cool anyways
- talk to you family alot
- open a movie account and watch every movie the store has, cause hbo and star show the same movie a million time.
- my chinese consists of knowing food and numbers and a few other things, a girls gotta eat
- try new things and be adventurous, you never know what you will like
- be wary of meat that looks suspicious, it is probably the intestines or feet
- i no longer almost puke when i smell stinky tofu
- i bake in a toaster over, betty crocker would be proud
- my computer is my other half
- the internet is my life line
- i no longer say "what?" when i dont understand, i say "HUH?"
- i speak fluent spanchinglish
- i think any boy with a pulse is cute
- foreign boys are weird and only like asian girls
- nobody wants a foreign girl
- i still really like military guys and baseball players
- i have developed obsessions with green tea, corn soup, and hot pot
- TGI Fridays tastes the same here, and its way good
- students tell me everyday that im beautiful, i cant get enough of it
- i get free dental care cause im a cute english teacher (or so id like to think)
- the 5th graders scare me and they are scared of me too
- i love long train rides, they are like my therapy
- i can wear whatever i want and still look cool
- teachers at my school wear workout clothes to teach in.....i cant bring myself to do it
- i dislike seafood even more after living here
- i make grilled cheese 3 times a week
- coke light, oh so good
- if a place doesnt have shopping....no one will be there
- my shopping habit is fueled here because the stuff is so cheap and there is always shopping
- life is simple here, and i like it that way
- i think the taiwanese should get into the trend of using a dryer to dry clothes
- i am going to start charging people to take my picture
- i am a celebrity at school, and maybe i will consider the people who take my picture the paparzzi
- my english is far from perfect
- i am rich
- laugh alot, it makes you feel better
- have fun and act stupid with your friends
- stare at hot boys
- live for the weekends!!

ok thats enough for now, i know ive learned alot more and i cant wait to see what 6 months brings, peace out girl scouts!
