So today I moved from not so super Maze Hostel to the really nice YHA Railway Hostel. It cost about 29.00 a night so thats why its nice. I am booked into here for 3 days and plan on relaxing and try to get my head straight on a few things. I am still undecided on the whole Alice Springs job thing, but after talking to a few people, I am starting to think I might give it a go....after all I am here to try new things right? So it looks like the 300.00 flight with have to go on the old Visa card (first time i'll use it) and then once there start work and work hard until I can at least pay back that 300.00. If worse comes to worse and I don't like it, or I just don't really wanna be there I'll probably just cut my losses and come on home to Canada, and start saving money to go to Thailand for 2 months and to return to School in September.
On
a more fun and blog-worthy side; I went to Bondi Beach today. It was a perfect day out, the sun was bright and hot (+30 or more) and just a hint of wind to keep me somewhat cool. Bondi was everything I thought it was gonna be...from all the postcards I had seen. It was quite full today as it was Saturday, many people from just about everywhere Imagine. I pretty much stood in one spot and took a bunch of pix of the beach (and the people..common I had to, they were right there in front of me. don't you wish you were here guys?). Then I headed along the amazing coastal walk towards the other beaches in the area. Along the way I got to see a bunch of strange art as the Sculpture By The Sea was going on. Many different types of art were on display...many of them very strange. By the time I started getting tired and hungry we were at only the second beach, and decided to call it a day and head home. We got the train back to Central Station and headed back to the hostel. Katye got invited to the U2
concert going on here in Sydney by one of her friends and I am taking the time to just relax and meet up with some people I haven't seen since I first arrived in Sydney.
There are about 100 pix That I have, but some of them I won't put on the blog....Got to show something new when I get home.
Sorry ladies for the lack of "sexy men" pix....But, what can I say :-P
