Suggestions for medical insurance (U.S. perspective)
Does anyone have any suggestions for catastrophic medical insurance with an evacuation option? I just quit my job so I need to have some insurance in place in case of emergency -- I'm not worried about the little things but rather the big things like a severed artery (I'm a surfer) or a diagnosis of cancer. I'm from the U.S. so I can't return home and get free medical service for a serious chronic illness.
Reply to this the main question is for how long...and where you are going to be...send me a private message if you need more info....a travel insurance on the net could do it for few weeks, but if you are on the road for a year...not the same thing...
