 Babacool1 Larry Steiner Post Count: 2 Msg: #1 596 days ago, April 7th 2008 | I haven't been in Red Sea but Maldives is a paradise for scuba divers, honey moon couples. | Many small islands, where you may walk all around the islands in max. 30 minutes. Nearly no agriculture and all the food is coming from India, Sri Lanka...even drink water. So, prices are quite expensive. You may take diving lessons and get a international PADI certification easily. Underwater is just fantastic...would be good if you go with an underwater camera. If you go with a partner non-scuba diver, I would advise you to do 1 week in Maldives & 1 week Sri Lanka. ( Unless you don't make your partner also become a scuba diver. :). There are some cheap flights Male/Colombo. Well...a little tip for Sri Lanka, unique peacefull beach there is at Galle( South of Colombo and no problem there.) and 5klm after to Unawatuna beach. ( Hikkaduwa is not bad too. ) Hope it helps.
