Am travelling Royal Brunei Air from London to Sydney and have to stop for the day
Has any one done this and can you tell me the best tour to do
The airline puts you in a hotel for the day but you have to find what to do youself Reply to this

have actually done this before but stayed overnight in Brunei....theres not a huge amount to do there to be honest....a trip to see the sultan of bruneis palace is worth a look but you wont see a huge amount...if you're lucky you might see him drive out the gates!! you cant see the palace properly..just the roof! its also a dry country so no heading to the pub for a few drinks!

yeah, im from borneo and my hometown is just at the border - between Miri city and Brunei.
there's nothing much to do really... unless u r interested to hire a driver to drive around the town, just having a look.

you can try the local Malays' village too - wooden houses on stilts by the river. You might get a glimpse of their culture and lifestyle Reply to this
