Anyone been to Cabarete, Dominican Republic? I love that town! I just Saw a free non commercial reality tv show on Cabarete, a kite surfing, windsurfing and surfing town in Dominican Republic, way cool! www.soulstation.tv check it out. I've travelled there 20 times and always find it hard to leave this town!

Yeah I went on holiday there a year ago....was great! Chilled out and beautiful. Not a tacky wedding or fenced in hotel in sight! Would love to go back. Did you go the Lax?? Was our fave restaurant!

Would recommend the Whale watching in Samana Bay in the winter-amazing to see so many in one area. Def guaranteed sighting!

Its a shame that lots of the Dominican is so 'touristy' Fenced in All Inclusives etc....Cabarete is a real Gem....
