Want to spend one month in the next 5-6 years to Visit China.
We are retired since 2002 and are using our time as we please.
Till now we travel each summer (since 2002) with our trailer in North America, then store the trailer at the end of the trip and fly home (Israel) to spend the winter with family and friends.
As time is short and we want to see and experiance as much as possible we decided to add an additional trip each spring to China.
The plan is to divide China into 5-6 areas and visit each area for a month starting from April/May 2008.
Our main interests are:Nature,Culture,History and meeting people.
We have NEVER visited China and therefore would like your suggestions how to do the trips (we do not like Tourist Group trips, prefer individual trips).
I was thinking of renting a furnished apartment in a central place of a chosen area, getting a driver and an English speaking guide- Is it realistic?
Please write your thoughts about :
A- The way to do the trips.
B- Routes,must see places,prices and so on.
Thank you.
Danny
