Hi! I will be volunteering in Vellore until Feb 1st and need to be in Goa on Feb 2nd. I booked a flight from Bangalore to goa at 14:30 on the 2nd, however would like to know if it is best to get there from Vellore by bus or train. Is is recommended to leave on the 1st in the evening, stay the night in Bangalore to then fly out in the afternoon? Also, would it be best to book a bus or train from Vellore before I leave or once I am there? It seems booking online is a bit tricky. Thanks!
Reply to this what you have planned originally is actually very good. You can either go by BUS or Train from Vellore to Bangalore. Train journey will give you more comfort. Depart on 1st feb to be of safer side. then you can stay in bangalore and take the afternoon flight the nextday. Infact I was planning to come to Goa in 1st week Feb in my car. I am based in Mumbai and love travelling. Best of Luck.
