Hey everyone.
I\'ll be traveling to Kuching over the chinese new year period (5/2/8-9/2/8..correct me if im wrong) and i\'m if there\'s any good whitewater rafting spots around the area.
Also, does anyone have suggestions of other things we can do, preferably the sporty/adventure types, like cave exploring, atv\'s etc.?

Reply to this White river rafting in Kuching? - almost never heard of one there. There are few good places for caving though - Mulu National Park and Niah National Park both in Miri Division. Niah is about an hour and half from the city center, and Mulu is another short flight from Miri.
If you opt for Bintulu - I can show you around Simalajau National Park. It's a good place for sun bath - jungle trekking - the longest trail is about 6 hours, waterfall, white sandy beaches and if crocodiles didn't scare you - opt for wild crocs sighting at night.
Accommodation ranges from US10 - 35 per night. Simalajau is about 20 minutes from Bintulu town center. Another 2 hours ride from Bintulu is the Niah Cave at the Niah National Park.
