In January 2008 I will cross the border from Nepal to China. What weather conditions can I expect? Very cold, moderate cold or something else? Please advise. Reply to this

It will be pretty cold at that time of the year. But with proper equipment, it is manageable. Snow might obstruct your way but it will be cleared as I think you will be travelling through Friendship Highway to Lhasa. Group departures of Tourists are done even in that time of the year.

I heard that crossing from nepal to lhasa is difficult than from lhasa to nepal.. you did it yourself or join a tour to do that? Reply to this
