Obviously I think it's Beijing. You can't argue with the nightlife, the food, or the massive number of historical sights.

Reply to this A vote for Hong Kong then. If you stray out of the tourist areas and expat zones you will find enough to gawk at in this city that is always busy, and the skyline has to qualify as one of the most beautiful in the world. On a bad day, there is lots of smog, incredibly bad air and crowds wherever you go, on a good day the view of Victoria habour is breathtaking, the birds of prey fly outside your window and the dim sum just tastes sooo good.
