Arriving Nov 19th - have no Spanish. Any recommendations for a good school in Buenos Aires? Also need to book a hostel - any tips?
Hi, arriving in Buenos Aires on Monday 19th Nov. Have no plans except to learn Spanish for a few weeks and then head to Patagonia. Would love to get some suggestions and tips. What is the weather like there in Nov and Dec? Thanks.
Reply to this Hi Lisa. I took a 1.5 week spanish course in Buenos Aires with EDENA spanish school. Very good teachers and they will cater classes to what you want. I finished my classes 2 weeks ago and whilst my spanish is still very dodgy, it is a lot better than when I started!
Best wishes, Ruth
Reply to this Here´s a link to a language school whose professors are all graduated from a very prestigious language School in Buenos Aires. I don´t know it personally but I´m sure it will be a very good Spanish school.

The weather in November is very nice, not too hot, but it may get pretty hot in December. It is a great time to head to Patagonia.
Reply to this Hi Lisa, The best hostel I stayed at in Buenos Aires was Telmotango. Friendly staff, good breakfast, central but quiet and safe too. Theres a great market there in San telmo on Sundays
Reply to this Hey Lisa,
I am 24 girl going to Peru (alone) arriving the 3rd November I am doing a group trip which ends on the 17th November. I am then going to travel around. If you fancy meeting up that would be great. Let me know
